Whether she is singing and performing, raising money to help our nation's veterans, or donating her time to animal welfare organizations or other worthy causes, Official CMT Artist ASHLEY WINELAND is leaving an impression on everyone whose path she crosses. Ashley first made a splash in the Southwestern music scene with the release of her patriotic song, “Red, White & Blue,” which honored the men and women serving in the United States Armed Forces. The video also caught the attention of the local CBS affiliate. She quickly realized that her music could be a catalyst to raise awareness for this and other causes close to her heart. To date, she has worked tirelessly volunteering for numerous charities, lending her voice and her time to support their platforms.

Her debut CD, “Family Business,” featuring her original compositions, garnered significant airplay on radio stations worldwide. However, it was her live performances and engaging stage presence that captured the eye of the music industry, which also led to some significant endorsements. Ashley was named the very first “Alvarez Breakthrough Artist,” and recently was upgraded to “Pro Artist” status. Quality hat manufacturer Peter Grimm soon followed, listing Ashley as one of their celebrity spokespeople.

Ashley became a frequent guest on television and radio shows was often the subject of print and digital media. She graced the cover of the global music publication ION Indie Magazine in December 2014 and captured the cover of City To Country Magazine for their Sept/Oct ’16 edition. A favorite on the festival circuit, Ashley has appeared at top events and shared stages with such recognizable names in country music as Parmalee, John Michael Montgomery, the Grammy Award-winning group Diamond Rio and most recently, country superstar Josh Turner. She also had the distinct honor to headline at the legendary country venue Reo Palm Isle in Longview, Texas — on whose stages have performed icons such as Elvis Presley, Willie Nelson, and Miranda Lambert, to name a few.

Her follow-up album, "Simple Life" spawned several hit singles, including "No Prince Charming (which debuted on iTunes at #2 in the category of "Best New Country Music"),  "She's Gone," and the title track "Simple Life." “No Prince Charming,” was filmed in her beloved home state of Arizona with the Superstition Mountains serving as a scenic backdrop. In keeping with the storytelling aspect of country music, “No Prince Charming” depicted the timeless tale of good cowboy versus bad cowboy. She again paid homage to Arizona with the stunning “She’s Gone” storyline video, which filmed in breathtaking Sedona and utilized the bird’s eye view of drone cameras to capitalize on the enthralling landscapes. The video quickly amassed almost a million views on Facebook! And when you are talking “numbers” in relation to Ashley Wineland, her social media total following has reached almost 200K fans. She credits her devoted worldwide fan base to realizing an immensely impressive weekly reach of over 1 million on Facebook! As a way of both engaging and showing her appreciation for her devoted followers (who refer to themselves as "Winelanders"), Ashley does a live broadcast each week on Facebook. Here, she chats about her upcoming appearances and performs her original music and her renditions of popular songs of today and yesterday while interacting with her fans.

Branded as an Official CMT Artist, Ashley looks forward to having her music reach a larger audience and growing her fan base while booking more appearances and continuing to write and record music. She continues to attain new milestones, including her recent signing to the worldwide management deal with the entertainment powerhouse company The City Drive Group. With 2 national tours under her belt, there’s no sign of slowing down for Ashley Wineland! She looks excitedly to the next chapter in her musical journey with The City Drive Group at the helm -- and bringing back to the genre what has been missing...TRUE COUNTRY!

NICK SANDERSON/DRUMS: Whether he is on tour or in the studio with CMT Artist Ashley Wineland, playing and volunteering at churches, or teaching a drum lesson, Nick Sanderson is truly leaving his mark in the music/entertainment industry and making a difference in his community.

It all started when his parents gifted him his first drum kit when he was 12-years old. Ever since that day, Nick has grown as a musician and is gaining traction in his career.

He is one of the most passionate personalities you will ever meet -- on and off the stage. Nick always enjoys a good old-fashioned conversation and will never hesitate to lend a helping hand.

Nick has been with Ashley’s band almost since the inception of Ashley’s career and not only sets the pace on percussions but provides back solid vocals to Ashley’s recordings and live music. See and hear Nick and stop by and say "howdy" when he again joins Ashley on tour in 2018!

GEORGE WASHBURNE/GUITAR: George began playing guitar and writing songs in Crozet, Virginia when he was 12 years old. After fronting a few rock bands in middle and high school, he attended the University of Richmond and graduated in the class of 2015. Despite electing to major in History, he continued to progress as a musician and performer, playing in several the university’s ensembles and maintaining a full schedule of his own shows in the central Virginia area. Upon commencement, his sights were fixed on Nashville, where he’s been building his resume as a professional guitarist since his move in June of 2015.

In terms of guitar-playing, George is heavily influenced by players like John Mayer, Stevie Ray Vaughan, B.B. King, Buddy Guy, Brad Paisley, and Brent Mason. Outside of the guitar universe, he enjoys a wide spectrum: James Brown, Ricky Skaggs, Eminem, and Ryan Adams, to name a few. While his ear is inclined to be pleased by many genres, his overall preference is guitar-driven music.

He has also remained committed to the pen and paper, engaging in a highly active songwriting scene with other gifted minds. Many of the songs he and his co-writers have produced occupy a modern country/Americana framework, and of those works, three have been recorded by Nashville-based artists. George loves to both write music and play the guitar, whether in front of an audience or in the studio, and intends to do both at a prominent level for many years. George is greatly anticipating bringing his guitar skills to the “Simple Life Tour 2018”!

TEDDY STEVENS/BASS: From Pop, to Rock, to R&B, to Country and Musical Theater, Teddy Stevens loves playing the bass. Inspired by his father he picked up the bass at the age of thirteen and has remained glued to the instrument ever since.  While attending The Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama, Teddy led his own rock trio, Citizen Radio, performing in the pubs of Glasgow.  Upon his return to hometown Louisville, KY, he was first-call session bass player at Downtown Recording, playing bass, guitar, and keyboards on a wide variety of sessions for musical artists and commercial clients, and provided backing tracks for musical theater.  While in Louisville, he led another power trio performing his own compositions as a guitar player recording for Sonablast Records.

Teddy moved to Nashville in 2015 and has been working steadily as a freelance bass player. Notable gigs include two regional tours with Normaltown Recording Artist White Violet, playing in the house band for JoCo Presents at Mercy Lounge, and a performance in the Nashville House at SXSW in 2017. He can often be seen in town backing up Pop/R&B singer Michael McQuaid, as a member of Pop singer/songwriter Lisa Goe’s band Koyoke, as a member of Pop/Funk band Manrelic, and in the Talking Heads tribute band These Slippery People. In 2017 Teddy returned to Louisville for a two-week run of “Hedwig and the Angry Inch” where he played bass, acoustic guitar, and sang backup vocals. He now adds “New Member of the Ashley Wineland Touring Band” to his resume – and is thrilled to do so!

CASSANDRA HAWKINS/VIOLIN: At the age of six, Cassandra Hawkins fell in love with music when her father surprised her with her first violin lesson. Her passion for music quickly expanded beyond just violin. She began to sing and participate in choirs, musicals, show choirs, and competitions. Alongside her vocal activities, Hawkins avidly pursued violin opportunities as she participated in orchestras, Indiana’s All-State Orchestra, Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp, musical pits, competitions, and more.

Auditioning at Belmont University in Nashville, TN, she started studying voice and violin. She studied violin under Grammy-nominee and Nashville Symphony’s Principal Player Alison Gooding Hauffman and fiddle with Grammy Award-nominee/winner and fiddler for the Steel Drivers, Tammy Rogers King, with studio musician for almost every country star of the 60s, 70s, and 80’s Buddy Spicher, and with world performer Billy Contreras.

Hawkins graduated from Belmont in 2016 and has been playing throughout Nashville and Indiana in venues, wineries, churches, weddings, sessions and with artists such as Pam Tillis at the Tipton County Pork Festival, Rick Taylor at The Riverbend Festival, Timbre, Thad Kopec, Radial Conservatory, and Timothy Myles.

She has played at multiple Ted X Conferences in Nashville, Nashville’s Story Conference, and more.

Hawkins now is a freelance musician, business owner of “Cassandra’s Piano & Tuning Repair,” and Co-Owner of the music contracting company “Hadrian.” She is very excited for this tour and the opportunity to work with some incredible musicians. She also is looking forward to traveling more of the U.S. and is excited to be a part of “Team Ashley”!
